HOW IT WORKS

REQUEST

Call 813-491-3000 or submit an online request (we will call you back).

SCREENING

Speak to a local health care provider. The screening call is always FREE. If we can't help, pay NOTHING. If we agree to service the call, you will be provided with a registration code.

REGISTRATION

Fill out a simple health questionnaire to supplement the information you have already provided on the phone. Depending on the circumstances, a face-to-face video consultation may also be required.

PRESCRIPTION

Check your email. After reviewing all the available information, we promptly issue our recommendation/prescription (if indicated).

PAYMENT

Decide whether to accept or decline the prescription. If you choose to decline the prescription, you are not charged. If you accept the prescription, you will be taken to a secure payment portal.

MEDICATION

Head out to the pharmacy … but do call them ahead of time to confirm that the prescription is ready.

SELF-PAY

We do not accept medical insurance, provide CPT / ICD codes, file insurance claims, or issue superbills. You pay us directly. Our Consultation Fee ranges between $54 and $180, depending on the level of service:

The following “extras” are always included in the Consultation Fee:

  • Excuse from work/school

  • Results of laboratory and diagnostic tests (emailed to you with a brief explanation)

  • Communication with other health care providers and pharmacies (if necessary)

We accept all major credit cards, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, etc. with no additional fees.

That’s it! There are no tricky subscriptions, hidden fees, or surprise bills to worry about! By "prequalifying" all patients and eliminating the hassle of insurance billing, we keep our service straightforward and affordable.

Telemed Limitations

We think of "virtual visits" as not a replacement for but a supplement to in-person care. Medical conditions that do NOT require a hands-on physical exam can be safely handled through an e-visit. On the other hand, our services are not appropriate for patients who: - Experience a major medical emergency - Have multiple complex health issues - Are confused, self-destructive, or otherwise in “crisis” - Present with vague symptoms or reasons for a visit: “Just not feeling well,” dizziness, etc. - Lack medical justification for a particular medication
