Mental Health Treatments
Mental health rarely has a single cause — or a single fix. Brain chemistry, sleep, stress, trauma, relationships, hormones, inflammation, and plain old life all have a seat at the table.
At Careborne, we take a thoughtful, individualized approach: combining pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, acupuncture, and nutritions in whatever combination actually makes sense for you.
Whether you're dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, burnout, or just a persistent sense that something's off — we'll help you figure out what's going on and build a plan around that.
The Map
Step 1: Getting started (~30 min · $144)
Fill out the intake form (it's also posted below) and I'll text you with available times for a phone consultation. We'll talk through what's going on, what you've already tried, and whether medication makes sense. If it does, I'll send a 15-day starter prescription to your pharmacy.
Step 2: Two-week check-in (~15 min · $72)
Medication takes time to work — and sometimes needs adjusting. We'll touch base at the two-week mark to see how you're feeling and fine-tune as needed. A 30-day prescription follows.
Step 3: Six-week follow-up (~15 min · $54)
By now we'll have a much clearer picture. If things are going well, I'll send a 90-day prescription so you're not calling in refills every month.
Optional: Weekly acupuncture ($90/session)
For patients who want to go deeper, I offer 30-minute acupuncture sessions at my office in North Port — focused on calming the nervous system and restoring balance. A surprisingly good complement to medication for many people.
Step 4: Six-month tune-up (~30 min · $72)
Once you're stable, we check in every six months to make sure things are still working. A 180-day prescription keeps life simple between visits.
